1. Trading Executive (HarbourFront)
 
Responsibilities
 
•   Offer submissions into National Electricity Market of Singapore (NEMS) and gas nominations
•   Monitor and analyse NEMS data
•   Generate trading analysis and reports
•   Coordinate and work with Keppel subsidiaries’ on related tasks as directed by the Company
 
Requirements
 
•   Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Economics
•   1 to 2 years of working experience is preferred
•   Able to perform overnight duties (including after office hours)
•   Highly numerate and able to multi-task
•   A good team player
 

 
Keppel Energy Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Energy, is the Asset Management, Technical and Specialist Operations & Maintenance arm of KE’s power generation business.  The Company is looking for dynamic, experienced individuals to join the business.  Successful candidates may be deployed to work in power generation facilities owned by KE and the initial deployment will be at Keppel Merlimau Cogen power plant on Jurong Island.
 
  
2. Electrical Engineer (Jurong Island)
 
Responsibilities
 
•    Support the Power Plant in meeting contractual, technical and commercial set-up and operation
•    Prepare the scope of works and specifications for maintenance
•    Maintain and update all drawings, data and maintenance record for electrical equipment and Plant utilities
•    Ensure that proper preventive and corrective maintenance (including emergency situations) are carried out for all electrical equipment and Plant utilities
•    Perform technical evaluation on external service engagement and material purchase
•    Assist in the preparation of annual maintenance budget for electrical equipment and Plant utilities
•    Provide necessary guidance and advice to maintenance staff to ensure that quality maintenance is carried out as per good engineering practice
•    Ensure that subordinates are adequately trained and recommend the necessary training
•    Ensure PPE are provided and subordinates are utilizing it by executing works with all safety precautions
•    Ensure all assigned jobs are executed in line with statutory requirements and the Power Plant’s policies and procedures
•    Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Power Plant management
 
Requirements
 
•    Possess a degree or diploma in a relevant Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of working experience in Power Plant ideally in a CCPP
•    Knowledge on electrical system including installation, troubleshooting, routine inspection and maintenance
•    Good knowledge in electromagnetic rotating equipment, protection relays, control circuitry of Power Plant electrical system, and electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformer, generator, automatic voltage regulator, uninterruptable power supply, HVAC, communication system, etc.
•    Hands-on knowledge in maintaining records in CMMS
•    Analytical with good command of written and spoken English
•    Self-motivated, independent and is a team player
•    Position is based at Jurong Island. Transport will be provided at Jurong East MRT station.
 
 
3. Mechanical Engineer (Jurong Island)
 
Responsibilities
 

•   Support the Power Plant to meet the contractual, technical and commercial set-up and operation

•   Maintain and update all drawings, data and maintenance records for all mechanical equipment and plant utilities

•   Ensure that proper preventive and corrective maintenance are carried out for all mechanical equipment and plant utilities

•   Perform technical evaluations of external service engagement and material purchase

•   Assist in the preparation of annual maintenance budget

•   Provide guidance and advice to maintenance staff to ensure that quality maintenance is carried out according to good engineering practices

•   Review and recommend training needs of subordinates

•   Ensure that PPE are provided and subordinates are utilising them to execute works with all safety precautions

•   Ensure that all power plant jobs executed are in line with statutory requirements of the relevant authorities, as well as with the Power Plant’s policies and procedures

•   Any additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Power Plant management

•   More junior candidates may be considered for Assistant Mechanical Engineer role

 
 
Requirements
 
•   A relevant Engineering degree with at least 3 years of working experience in Power Plant maintenance, ideally on a CCPP
•   Knowledgeable in mechanical systems including installation, troubleshooting, routine inspection and maintenance
•   Competent in vibration monitoring of rotating equipment, lubrication and record maintenance in CMMS
•   Experienced in the erection, commissioning and initial start-up phases of a modern power station
•   Strong analytical skills with good command of written and spoken English
•   Self-motivated, independent and is a team player
•   Position is based at Jurong Island. Transport will be provided at Jurong East MRT Station
