We will conduct all our operations in a manner that protects Human Health & Safety while complying with all applicable laws and regulations.  Moreover, the company will strive for continuous improvement in these areas.
 
Health & Safety is a line responsibility that extends to all levels of management.  All employees and contractors will perform their work strictly in accordance with this policy.
 
This policy is carried out through the following practices: 
  • Seeking continuous improvement in health & safety protection through the establishment of effective management systems;
  • Providing the necessary resources;
  • Informing employees of this policy and providing them the training to safely perform their individual responsibilities and duties;
  • Providing relevant health & safety information to contractors and requiring them to provide proper training and supervision for the safe performance of the work;
  • Incorporating health & safety requirements from initial design through to operations;
  • Reviewing and reporting the health & safety performance of the company’s operations and facilities on a periodical basis;
  • Establishing and maintaining communications on health & safety issues with concerned groups and regulatory agencies;
  • Providing appropriate protective equipment for the safe performance of the work; and
  • Establishing, maintaining, rehearsing and reviewing with concerned groups all emergency response plans, to avoid health impacts, injuries, damage and loss to the company and/or the community.
