The successful candidate will
assist in managing
the market risks of Keppel Energy’s energy business located
in Singapore.
Key
responsibilities:
- Offer
submissions
into New Electricity Market of Singapore (NEMS)
- Monitor and analyse NEMS data
- Generate and analyse trading
and financial reports
- Coordinate and work with Keppel
subsidiaries’ on related tasks as directed by the Company
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma
in Electrical Engineering
- 1
to 2 years of working experience is preferred.

to perform shift duties (including after office
hours)

Accountant
The
incumbent will be part of the Finance Department managing the financial
and accounting functions of Keppel Energy and its subsidiaries.
Key
responsibilities:
- Perform monthly and year-end closing and reporting for local subsidiaries
- Liaise with auditors on annual audit and preparation of financial statements
- Quarterly forecast, Budget preparation and GST reporting
- Participate in the implementation of financial system
Requirements:
- Recognised Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
- 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in audit, finance and accounting with a large
corporation is preferred.
Knowledge of Hyperion or Solomon would be an advantage
Able to multi-task, dependable, highly organized, detail oriented and a good team player
Accounts Executive
The
incumbent will be part of the Finance Department managing the financial
and accounting functions of
Keppel
Energy and its subsidiaries.
Key
responsibilities:

Supports billing functions and accounts receivables Handles accounts payables, expense claims verification and creditors statements reconciliation

Performs bank reconciliation

GST filing and posting

Assists with month-end closing of accounts

Potential to handle full sets of accounts for subsidiaries

Requirements:

Recognised Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent

Executive (Gas Business)
You will support the Team Leader of Retail & Marketing and be responsible for the following areas:
Key
responsibilities:

Operate the business processes necessary for the import and sale of gas, including periodic shift responsibilities, including generation of operation reports
-
Operate in the day to day gas nomination activity under the liberalized Singapore gas market
-
Provide analytical support to the business managers on commercial and regulatory matters
-
Participate in gas industry forums and work groups
-
Liaise with upstream gas supplier, regulators, various authorities, the gas transporters and customers
-
Operate and maintain the gas metering equipment at customer’s site and the internal SCADA system
-
Provide technical and analysis role(s) in any gas project development and/or implementations
-
Supervise the contractors providing gas metering services and developing the computerized gas management system
Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in chemical engineering or other engineering discipline

Power Station Chemist (Jurong Island)
Key responsibilities:
- Provide specialist support and guidance for the effective management and optimisation of the water /steam cycle chemistry.
- Perform sampling, analysis, and reporting/recording of process water, chemical, fuel, or environmental chemistry samples.
- Ensure quality and compliance of laboratory and sampling procedures and recommend operating guidelines to improve its quality.
- Ability to provide guidance and training for sampling and laboratory analysis to operations
personnel.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
- Chemistry-related work experience with a preference for experience in power plant & utilities, chemical, petrochemical or refining.
- Full knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory concepts and techniques.
- Ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain Demineralized Water
Treatment Plant.
- Understanding of the environmental compliance requirements of an operating power plant or
utility.
Operations Shift Charge Engineer
(Jurong Island)
You will work within and lead a team responsible for
direct control of monitoring and optimising of the Power Station.
Requirements:
- An Engineering Degree preferably related to power generation thermodynamics or alternatively
possess a Diploma with relevant extensive experience.
- At least 10 years experience working in Power Station operations ideally on a
CCPS.
- Preferably holding at least a Second Grade Steam or ICE Engineer (Singapore)’s Certificate of Competency.
- Knowledge and experience of modern Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) practices.
