Keppel Gas Pte Ltd (“Keppel Gas”) is a licensed gas importer and shipper and the first company in Singapore to bring natural gas from Malaysia into Singapores main gas network.
The long-term supply of natural gas is worth more than S$3 billion based on prevailing gas price at the time of signing, was secured from Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the national oil and gas company of Malaysia under a Gas Sales Agreement (GSA).
The natural gas will be used to power Keppel Merlimau Cogens 500MW cogeneration plant and ExxonMobil Asia Pacific expanding operations in Singapore.
Keppel Gas was a recipient of the 22nd Singapore 1000 Sales Turnover Growth Excellence Award in 2009. |
