1998                  Keppel FELS Energy Pte Ltd was formed to manage the power generation business under Keppel FELS
2000 Keppel FELS Energy Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel FELS Energy was awarded a license to participate the Singapore Electricity Market. Keppel FELS Energy was awarded a license to build and operate a cogeneration plant on Jurong Island.
2001 Keppel FELS Energy was selected and awarded a contract to operate the power barges in Brazil under a 2 years PPA.
2002 Keppel FELS Energy became a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation and renamed Keppel Energy Pte Ltd.
2003 Keppel Energy divested its stake in the 100MW Zunhua Shengli Power Plant in Heibei, China.
2004 Keppel Energy entered into a long-term contract for the supply of natural gas from Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS).
2005

Keppel Energy secured a S$525 million bridge and project financing package for the construction of its 500MW combined cycle power plant on Jurong Island.

2006

Keppel Energy redeployed its power barges in Guayaquil under a 15-year concession contract with the National Council of Electricity in Ecuador.

2007

Keppel Merlimau Cogen, a 500MW cogeneration plant on Jurong Island, successfully commenced commercial operation. 

2008

Keppel Gas entered into a long term gas supply agreement with ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd to supply natural gas to its facilities on Jurong Island.

2009

Keppel Gas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Energy, received the 22nd Singapore 1000 Sales Turnover Growth Excellence Award.

Keppel Energy divested its stake in the 65MW Censa Power Plant in Nicaragua.

2010

Keppel Merlimau Cogen entered into a LNG supply agreement with British Gas.

Keppel Merlimau Cogen commenced its 800MW expansion.
